What's a database?
A database is a huge collection of magazine, newspaper, and journal articles. Many also have material from reference books. One great thing about the database is that these articles are searchable using keywords or subjects. Another great thing about databases is that all of the information has been through a publishing process so some evaluation of the information has already been done for you. The best articles for your research paper will be from scholarly or peer-reviewed journals.
How do I log in to the BVN Databases?
Go to the main library page, click on Databases, enter our school id and password (these can be obtained in the library media center). This will take you to the ids and passwords for all the BVN databases.
NOTE: Some of the databases do not require an id and password at school but will require these at home.
