Can I use Citation Machine?
We have found best way to teach students to correctly format a works cited page is to start with an example page. You should find an example that is closest to the source you have and replace the info in the example with info from your book or article.
You may use Citation Machine. However, please use it with GREAT CAUTION! Citation Machine is a good guide to use, however we have found that approximately 75% of the time, citation machine is INCORRECT! If you decide to use it anyway, please make sure that you double check your citations. If the resource that you are citing is a book or magazine, citation machine is probably fairly reliable, however if you are using a database or online resource, it is frequently incorrect.
Many of the databases will also give you MLA citations. Again, you must make sure they are correct!
