Directions for exporting your audacity project as an mp3

When you are finished recording and editing with Audacity. Go to File, export as mp3.

Select the folder where you want to save the file.

A message will pop up saying that Audacity does not export directly to mp3 but uses the LAME encoder. It will ask you to find the lame.enc.dll.

Click yes.

Navigate to Local Disc (C), Program Files, Audacity. The lame.enc.dll is the last file listed. Double click on the icon and continue saving your mp3 file.
